Childbirth Education

Partners or the Significant other are an essential part of this process as well
Coming to meet other pregnant couples adds to the excitement of your new
arrival, and in most cases, good friendships develop in the process.
Learn to understand your different birthing options and observation skills,
empowers you to be part of the management of your care during this
life-changing event in your lives. You and your partner will receive tools to
cope with the physical and emotional changes that occur during pregnancy,
labour and after your baby’s birth.
You will have a better understanding of your newborn’s behaviour in the
first six “very-tiring” weeks. You will receive different hands-on techniques
on how to position your baby for effective latching using my props.
Bear in mind that breastfeeding is a partnership between mom and baby, where
one needs the other to succeed and survive. This means that once your baby is
born, we may be able to see which position suits both you and your baby’s
temperament. Perseverance and patience is key to feeding your baby.
A quote by Edward Stanley pretty much sums up breastfeeding: Those who think
they have no time for healthy eating will sooner or later have to find time for
illness.
